BETS & PAYOUTS

There are many different kinds of bets. Generally there are two groups - bets and special bets. The special bets are a little more complex and they will be described more precisely below. Now, let's start at the basics. You have probably noticed five chip piles in the options interface. They are bet minimum. When you select one of them and log as a new player, you will set the new table minimum bet exactly as you have chosen. What does it mean? When you select e.g. $15, you will be forbidden to bet lower amount of money on one square than $15. On the other hand, the maximum depends on the type of a bet, you can bet the most so that the maximum possible winning on each chance is approximately the same - that is because the payoff odds are different for every kind of bet. The payoff odds and table maximums are presented below - under the types of bets. Remember that the available chips are $5, $10, $25, $100 and $500. Using them, a player can always combine the required value.

NORMAL BETS - INSIDE

On a Straight-up (1 number). The chip is placed on one selected number. French name - en plain;

On a Split (2 numbers). The chip is placed on the line between two selected numbers. French name - cheval;

On a Street (3 numbers). The chip is placed on the outside line on the row of three numbers. French name - transversale plain;

On a Corner (4 numbers). The chip is placed on the corner connecting four numbers. French name - carre;

Corner

On 5 numbers. Making this bet is possible only in one place - on American table, chip must be put on line connecting five numbers - 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The most similar bet on French table is called quatre premier and is made of 0, 1, 2 and 3 squares;

5 numbers

On a Six-line (six numbers). The chip is placed on the outside line of two rows of three numbers. French name - six aine.

NORMAL BETS - OUTSIDE

On Dozens. The chip is placed on one of three boxes marked 1st 12, 2nd 12 or 3rd 12. The winning number must hit within the dozen range of your bet. 0 and 00 would be losing numbers. On French table, those boxes are marked 12P (premiere douzaine), 12M (milieu douzaine) and 12D (dertniere douzaine);

Dozens

On Columns. The chip is placed at the bottom of the one of three columns of numbers on 2 to 1 box. The winning number must hit within the column of your bet. 0 and 00 would be losing numbers. What's important - on French table, those boxes are NOT signed! But they work exactly as American ones and are in the same place;

Columns

On Red or Black. The chip is placed on box with red symbol or black one, referring to the background of the winning number. 0 and 00 would be losing numbers. Now important note - on French table there's only one 0 and when it occurs, it's time for En Prison rule. It is explained below;

Red or Black

Odd or Even. The chip is placed on one of the two boxes, marked Odd or Even, referring to the winning number. 0 and 00 would be losing numbers. On French table they are called Pair (Even) and Impair (Odd);

Odd or Even

1-18 or 19-36. The chip is placed on one of the boxes marked 1-18 or 19-36. And guess what? 0 and 00 are losing numbers :>. On French table they are called Mangue (1-18) and Passe (19-36).

1-18/19-36

EN PRISON

There is one very important rule in roulette. It is called "en prison", and is applied when a player puts his money on any 1:1 outside bet (Red/Black, Odd/Even, 1-18/19-36) and the result is 0 (or 00 in American roulette). When that happens, a player loses only half of the money.

MAXIMUM & MINIMUM

Mow let's show what the maximum table bets are, regarding to minimum bet table settings

Now - by making simple equations - we can see what the maximum winnings are. It is calculated like this: when you choose e.g. a Straight Up bet on minimum $5 table and you bet the maximum money possible, $50, you will win $1750; and it is the maximum winning on this table.

There are few rules regarding joining tables and creating new ones. If you want to join a table with higher minimum betting, you must have a specified amount of money.

Table min.Money required
$5$0
$20$10000
$50$25000
$100$50000
$500$250000

Which means, e.g. when you want to create or join table with minimum betting ratio set on $20, you must have at least $10500.

SPECIAL BETS

Now it is time to introduce special bets. They are only available in the French game. A special bet option is placed under the spin button. When you click it, the special bet screen will appear. On this screen you have.

On the left side, the type of bet. When you click on one of them, you will see highlighted numbers on the wheel. Those are the numbers the chips will be placed on, when you chose specified bet. There is an exception - the last five bets, Voisins are different and you must choose yourself which area you want to highlight, by clicking it.
Under the wheel there are five chips; each one of different value. By clicking one of them you decide what wager will be used for the bet. Note that every special bet can be made, by using only one kind of chip! So, it is impossible to put $500 on half of a selected fields and $5 on the rest. It is possible only in a normal bet; it will not be a special bet anymore.
In the middle of the wheel there is the information about player's selected kind of chip and how many of them will he need for the selected bet.
The total value of a bet is presented at the bottom of a special bet screen.
When a player is ready to place the bet, he can do it by clicking a bet button, which is placed in the bottom left corner. When he wants to resign, can do it by clicking a close button placed in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Now, let's give a full details about every special bet:

Voisins du zero. This bet covers the area of 16 numbers surrounding the zero number (not on the table but on the wheel), including 0. But note that when two numbers are close on the table, a chip is placed on the line between them (and it pays as a normal Split). Notice that there are two places when the chips surround more space than two squares - and in those places there are two chips.
Jeu zero. A simpler and cheaper version of the previous bet. A player bets on zero and six numbers surrounding it. The chips are put in four places.
Orphelins en plein. This bet covers two "zones" on the wheel - one with five numbers, second with three. A chip is placed on every eight squares.
Orphelins a cheval. It is similar to the previous bet, but with a little difference. A player needs only five chips, because he does not put them on each of the eight squares - but when two numbers from the "zones" are close, a player places chips on the lines between them. That makes five instead of eight.
Tires du cylindre. This bet covers 12 numbers on the bottom side of the wheel. Notice that those numbers added to Vosins du zero and Orphelins make together a complete wheel.
Finale en plein. This bet is always connected with a number. It can be from 0 to 9. It works very simple - when you choose Finale an plein with a specified number, you select numbers ending with that number, for example by selecting Finale en plein with 4, you will place bets on 4,14,24,and 34.
Finale a cheval. It is similar to the previous bet, but this time a player bets on two numbers - it is based on splits and only on splits. E.g. when Finale a cheval 5/8 is chosen, chips are placed on splits 5/8, 15/18 and 25/28.
Jeu 7/9 (5). This bet covers all numbers ending with 7,8 and 9. When it is possible, the numbers are combined together - once there is a street, twice a split and twice a straight-up. That is why it is called a 5 - only five chips are needed.
Jeu 7/9 (6). In this situation, a player puts his chips at the same numbers as before, but this time he bets only on splits and straight-ups. That makes six chips instead of five.
Voisins. This is the only bet that is not highlighted on the wheel, when you click it. It is because a player chooses on his own which area he wants to cover. First he must choose one of the voisins. Generally, a voisin bet means selecting a number with its neighborhood on the wheel. And the number near the voisin means how wide this neighborhood will be spread. For example 3 Voisins bet means putting chips on seven places - selected number and six numbers neighboring it on both sides.
